Cat-Cow Stretch The Cat-Cow stretch is a gentle yoga exercise that increases flexibility in the spine and relieves tension in the lower back. How to do it: Start on your hands and knees in a tabletop position, with your wrists directly under your shoulders and your knees under your hips. Inhale as you arch your back (Cow position), letting your belly drop toward the floor and lifting your head and tailbone toward the ceiling. Exhale as you round your back (Cat position), tucking your chin to your chest and pulling your belly button toward your spine. Repeat f
